Town House Forum features poets, fiction writers, and musicians, and each presentation will be followed by conversations with the audience. They begin at 7 pm and reservations are not needed. Everyone is invited to pack a picnic and come early to have supper on the Strafford Common with the authors!
Melanie Finn is a documentary screenwriter and the author of two books, Away From You ((2004) and The Gloaming (2016), which was a New York Times “Editor’s Choice,” and on The Guardian’s “Not the Booker Prize” shortlist.
Writer and musician Robin MacArthur, is the author of the short story collection, set in Vermont, Half Wild (2016) and a member of the folk duo, Red Heart the Ticker.
While there is no charge for admission, donations will be welcomed at the door, to benefit the new books fund of the Morrill Memorial and Harris Library.
The Norwich Bookstore will sell current and past books by the authors. (Many of the books can be purchased at the bookstore in advance, and can be signed by the authors in August.)
