3/20 Susan Gillotti | Women of Privilege

We are pleased to announce the March publication of Susan Gillotti's book that was postponed from last fall!

Women of Privilege: One Hundred Years of Love and Loss in a Family of the Hudson River Valley is an intriguing social biography that traces the decline of a once privileged family - neighbors of the Vanderbilts, Delanos, and Roosevelts.

Susan Gillotti, the great-great granddaughter of Sarah Minerva Schieffelin, has collected journals, diaries, and stories to paint a portrait of a family in turmoil.

"A riveting and moving family story, which, quite literally, I could not put down."  Miriam Cohen, Evalyn Clark Professor of History, Vassar College
