Teachers, school staff, and librarians are invited to our Educators' Reception beginning at 3:30 pm and featuring a presentation by author Andi Diehn at 4:00.
This is a great opportunity to learn about our special discount program for schools and libraries, discover new books for young readers, gather free materials supplied by our publisher partners, and enjoy homemade refreshments!
At 4:00 Andi Diehn will present four new books, Computer Decoder: Dorothy Vaughan, Computer Scientist, Human Computer: Mary Jackson, Engineer, Space Adventurer: Bonnie Dunbar, Astronaut, and Fossil Huntress: Mary Leakey, Paleontologist. These four new biographies use age-appropriate vocabulary, detailed illustrations, simple STEM projects, and a glossary to support foundational learning for children age 5-8.
Andi Diehn is a writer and editor with an MFA in Creative Writing from Vermont College. She is the author of 11 books for children, and lives in Enfield, New Hampshire, with her family.
Author presentation open to all!
