Where the Heart Is tells the story of 13-year-old Rachel who is struggling to understand how to adapt to the complications of her family’s changing circumstances and a friend who would like to be more. Jo Knowles lives with her family in Hartland and is the author of seven other acclaimed novels for young adults including Jumping Off Swings.

l stoddardRight as Rain, Lindsey Stoddard's second novel, follows 12-year-old Rain as her world is turned upside-down following the accidental death of her brother. Lindsey grew up in Norwich and currently lives with her young family in northern Vermont.
