John operates Morton Trails, a recreational trail design consulting firm with more than 250 projects across North America and several foreign countries. Outside magazine includes John's trails at Green Woodlands in Lyme and Dorchester on their list of the Best Nordic Trails in the U.S.
John has written two previous books about nordic skiing; Don't Look Back and A Medal of Honor. John and his wife Kay live in Thetford, VT surrounded by ski trails.
