Katherine Roy | How to Be an Elephant & Educator’s Reception

k royArea teachers, school staff, and librarians are invited to our Educators' Reception to meet author/illustrator Katherine Roy. This is also a great opportunity to learn about our special discount program for schools and libraries, discover new books for young readers, gather free materials supplied by our publisher partners, and enjoy homemade refreshments!

At 4:00 we will welcome special guest, author/illustrator Katherine Roy who will give a presentation about her new book from David Macaulay Studio at Roaring Brook Press, How to Be an Elephant. (David Macaulay may drop by for a visit!)

Katherine Roy, a graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies, is the award-winning author and illustrator of Neighborhood Sharks: Hunting with the Great Whites of California’s Farallon Islands and the illustrator for the popular Expeditioners series by Hartland author Sarah Stewart Taylor.
