Award-winning author, Micah Perks grew up in a log cabin on a commune in the Adirondack wilderness. Author of two other novels, a memoir, and countless short stories and essays, she now lives with her family in Santa Cruz, where she co-directs the creative writing program at UCSC. Micah will be discussing her book, and writing, with Peter Orner, author and Professor of English and Creative Writing at Dartmouth College.
