Join Lisa Christie of The Book Jam, Penny McConnel from the Norwich Bookstore, Lucinda Walker from the Norwich Public Library, and two community readers, for an evening discussing and celebrating books to benefit the Norwich Library. This year's gathering will be online, so pour yourself a drink or grab a snack and settle in at home for the fun!
During Pages in the (Virtual) Pub, presenters share brief descriptions of current favorite books - including great gift suggestions - while attendees listen and choose which they might like to order. The Norwich Bookstore will donate a portion of the evening's purchases to the Norwich Public Library.
You may order via the bookstore website or use the form created by the library - links will be provided that evening. All orders must be received by 5 pm on Sunday, November 15th to be included in the program. The bookstore will notify you when your books have arrived and are ready for pickup from the porch.
Tickets are $20 and may be purchased by clicking HERE.
The Book Jam is a unique blog created by Lisa Christie and Lisa Cadow, both of Norwich, devoted to promoting books, reading, independent bookstores, and public libraries. They feature book reviews as well as interviews with a wide variety of authors. Be sure to sign up for reading recommendations.
