Tillie Walden is a cartoonist and illustrator from Austin, Texas. She is a graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies, where she now teaches. She has published three graphic novellas with the London based Avery Hill Publishing and three with First Second Books, including her Eisner Award-winning memoir Spinning; she is also the co-author (with Emma Hunsinger) of the picture book My Parents Won't Stop Talking!, and the graphic novel Junior High with Tegan & Sara. She lives in Vermont.
